Payment Method Discounts

Set a discount or fee for a payment method in its settings. Use this when you want to encourage a lower-cost checkout option or pass through a fee for a specific processor.

Here's how to do so:

1. Go to your store's payment settings
2. For the payment method in question, click its name so its respective modal appears.
3. In the Discount/Fee section, enter a percentage, a fixed amount, or both.
   • To add a discount, enter positive values. For example, for a 10% discount, enter 10 in the percentage field.
   • To add a fee, enter negative values. For example, for a 5% fee, enter -5 in the percentage field.
   • For a custom method, percentage is applied first, then the fixed amount once per order or ordinary charge. Fixed amounts use the checkout currency's major units.
4. Save the payment method.

For custom methods, open Custom Processors and edit the individual method. Each method has its own adjustment; changing one does not change the others. New custom methods start without an adjustment. Custom wallet top-ups do not apply these fees or discounts: the charge and deposit stay at the chosen USD amount, with any wallet bonus credited separately. Customers see applicable adjustments during ordinary order or charge checkout.
